Lookstein Virtual Jewish Academy is The Lookstein Center’s nonprofit online school of Jewish studies. We are dedicated to providing quality Jewish studies options and have worked with more than 100 Jewish day schools and 1000s of Jewish students worldwide.
Our team of master educators designs and brings to life excellent online courses in Jewish Texts, Jewish thought, and Jewish History for High School. Courses can be easily incorporated into any Jewish day school program during the fall, spring, or summer.

Lookstein Virtual courses can be flexibly incorporated into curricula to expand resources, enrich studies, teach 21st century skills, and creatively accommodate a widening range of student needs.
Who develops curriculum and creates course content?
Our team! Veteran Jewish educators, instructional designers, academic and pedagogic consultants, assessment specialists, graphic designers, programmers, writers, and multimedia specialists—work collaboratively to produce rigorous and highly engaging content.
What is the duration and weekly time committment?
We offer a range of courses and programs that can run from 1 month to a full academic year. Weekly time commitment ranges from 1-3 hours/week.
Are your programs evaluated?
Yes! Courses are evaluated regularly by independent evaluators to ensure they meet iNACOL standards and a variety of measures of Jewish educational quality.
Are you accredited?
Yes! Lookstein Virtual Jewish Academy is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) Accrediting Commission for Schools as a Supplementary Education Program.
