Lookstein Virtual Jewish Academy works to bring Jewish education to Jewish students everywhere, regardless of geographic location or ideological orientation, and to supporting Jewish schools by providing affordable, innovative, differentiated instruction to supplement their existing course offerings.

Affiliations

Lookstein Virtual Jewish Academy is an award-winning initiative of The Lookstein Center at Bar-Ilan University.

The Lookstein Center is deeply committed to enhancing the quality of Jewish education around the world. The Center’s staff works with hundreds of Jewish day schools to identify and solve problems facing the Jewish educational world today, translating innovative ideas into practical solutions: curriculum, resources, programs, and community action. The Lookstein Center has more than two decades of experience in the fields of classical and distance educational programming.

​Founded in 1955, Bar-Ilan University is one of Israel’s leading institutions of higher education, uniquely combining cutting-edge scientific research with education steeped in Jewish values and social responsibility. From 70 students to 20,000, its milestone achievements in the sciences and humanities and all fields of human endeavor have made an indelible imprint on the landscape of the State of Israel.

Lookstein Virtual Jewish Academy is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) Accrediting Commission for Schools as a Supplementary Education Program.
